“Portrait of Tom”

Acrylic on canvas 11 inches by 14 inches 

Tom is Alive but not happy. He doesn’t yet see where things are going or how they got this far. Tom I’d along for the ride and wishes only to arrive at the destination now. He will never arrive at his destination, not as he once imagined it to be. The grass is always greener and though he feels alive now as the sun sets, the dark of the night might just swallow him whole.
